Health Problem From Fast Food

Remember this headline: "An overweight Bronx man wants four famous fast food chains to pay for serving him the finger-licking food that helped make him fat."? That interesting case sure made network news! The man claimed, "They never explained to me what I was eating!"

The point here is not to debate the merits (or lack thereof) of this particular case. However it does bring up a fact we cannot deny. In addition to causing obesity, fast food causes a plethora of other ailments – diabetes and heart trouble just to name a few.

Our bodies were not created to withstand the continual fueling of junk. You certainly would not put sugar into the gas tank of your personal vehicle, would you? What would happen if you poured a little vegetable oil into the gas tank? You simply wouldn't do it.

Many people take better care of their vehicles than their bodies. What choice would you make if you pulled up to a gas station which displayed two nozzles - healthy fuel and one for junk food fuel, both side by side and both costing about the same? All things equal, most would likely fuel their vehicle with the good stuff.

So why don't most people make the same decision with their own bodies? The answer is simple – fast food is more convenient. That is the number one reason so many tons get consumed each year. Not to mention that fast food, artery clogging, heart stopping junk tastes pretty yummy.

Old habits die hard, but if we don’t start changing our habits we will be the ones dying… much earlier than necessary. What if you could have your healthy food fuel nozzle available for the same price as the unhealthy and it were readily available? Would you choose it?

Would you at least try it for a week? Word has it that it takes 30 days to break a habit. Take it one week at a time. You're not alone in this. You have a support network who wants to see you succeed.

Think of the benefits you will reap after you transition into preparing healthy meals at home with little preparation. If you're feeling like you don't even know where to begin, rest easy. And no, you won't have to eat tasteless rabbit food!

For starters, if you work outside the home you'll need to utilize the microwave and refrigerator in the employee break room. If you don't have access to either or both of those then make an investment in a small cooler and a wide mouthed thermos.

In order to break the fast food habit you'll need to form new habits. Instead of putting your hand in the cookie jar, you'll put your hand into a pre-made or precut snack that is already in the refrigerator or zip lock baggie.

Still feeling uneasy about this whole transformation? How about a road map which consists of a menu planner, recipes and a grocery list!? Here's one that has all the above www.healthymenumailer.com. It also has a support network included, because the amount of support you have can make or break your new healthy transition.

With this plan everything is laid out for you. All you have to do is follow the map. It's so convenient; you'll get a week's worth of recipes, detailing which items to pick up from the grocery store. And the best part is that you can have a FREE trial.

Take it for a test drive; what have you got to lose – other than minutes, months or years off your life?
