We asked over 300 newlyweds about their honeymoons, with experiences ranging from a romantic cruise to Hawaii to a Florida theme park honeymoon, and what they liked and disliked. As a result, we can now present the top five honeymoon destinations from our sample.

1. Cruise to hawaii : it's pretty obvious that even more romantic and wonderful than a trip to Hawaii is a Hawaiian cruise ! Most of the newlyweds loved their cruise to Hawaii, citing the following as the best features of their Hawaiian honeymoon cruises: the reasonable price, the vast array of activities to participate in aboard a cruise, and of course, the romance.

2. Hawaii all-inclusive resorts: with prices at these resorts coming to an all time low now is the time to choose this destination for your Hawaii honeymoon. Of those newlyweds polled, all spoke with great admiration for the service, food, and activities available in Hawaii resort destinations. Another aspect of this service that was met with enjoyment was pre-paying for the entire Hawaii vacation, thus allowing them to leave their checkbook at home.

3. While Florida isn't the first place most people think of when considering honeymoon destinations, its theme parks have become very popular places for honeymoons. They offer outstanding dining, some of the world's best resorts, many activities, low prices, and a great deal of fun. They proved to be very popular with our newlyweds.

4. Paris: Newlyweds with a little more cash available for the honeymoon will find Paris to be an excellent destination because there is so much to see and do, such as going to the famous Eiffel Tower or visiting the French countryside. Of course, having a meal at a sidewalk cafe or enjoying the nightlife will also provide plenty of enjoyment for honeymooners.

5. Consider vacationing in Mexico. Cabanas are now available inexpensively, so this may be the ultimate place and time to travel. Brides lounge in the sand, enjoy breathtaking vistas, and the wide variety of choices. Considering the affordable prices, your holiday is bound to end up in your scrapbook.
